As Entertainments Manager at Oakwood Theme Park, I worked very closely with Mark for 7 years.Mark was instrumental in putting together our Summer and Halloween shows. I found his choreography to be innovative and his eye for detail was second to none. Mark not only choreographed the shows, he designed the costumes working closely with our costume maker. Mark also spent many hours with our lighting technician working late into the night to ensure that every little detail was right. The many hours, days, weeks and months that Mark spent working on our shows was widely appreciated by the audience and you could guarantee our indoor and outdoor shows were always packed and much loved by the audience.

Mark was my dance teacher from the age of 14 into adulthood. I've watched him teach and inspire all ages and all levels of experience and he does so with so much fun it never feels like work! He brings so much passion and knowledge. I always looked forward to a class with Mark!

Mark's passion for dance & people captivated me from the moment i met him. I joined one of Mark's dance classes with 2 left feet and absolutely no confidence. I left my first class full of excitement and i couldn't wait for the following weeks class. Mark is so patient and even when i became frustrated and filled with self doubt about my ability Mark put me at ease and made me feel as if i could achieve anything. Mark has an amazing sense of humour and always has everyone laughing and more importantly having fun.His warm and caring nature adds to his professionalism and his experience is inspirational. Through Mark's classes I have become more confident and, more importantly, i have self belief. I couldn't recommend Mark or his classes enough.

Mark Short is a teacher who is both technically excellent and hugely joyful.I have attended his classes for over 10 years, where he has honed my skills and strength, always pushing me to reach the next level. he is both an expert at teaching, and a wonderful experienced performer, and getting to see him demonstrate the moves is hugely inspiring. You can always trust there will be a banging soundtrack and plenty of laughs. If Mark is choreographing it, i want to dance it.

Mark Short has taught masterclasses and workshops for me and since our first meeting in 1992 i have keenly followed his choreographic journey which has shown passion and expression through his various productions. Mark demonstrates a flair for creating emotive performances and i regard him as a leading light and a true dance ambassador. I am pleased to endorse the quality of his work and to provide this testimony.

Mark's classes are the perfect outlet for adults of any age who love to dance. He radiates positivity and you instantly feel so welcome. You can immerse yourself in the music with his exciting choreography and be reassured that he is attentive to every person in the room, constantly providing positive feedback, corrections and encouragement. It's a joy to dance in his classes and i'd truly recommend them to anyone who's looking to add more fun into their week!

I have known Mark for over 20 years, and he continues to have such a positive influence on me, both as a performer and in my own confidence. His classes are always full of energy, encouragement and most . He has a wonderful ability to make me feel confident enough to let go, express myself and bring my own personality and flair to every performance. My self-esteem continues to grow through his teaching, as does my confidence in my own abilities. Alongside that, Mark's incredible knowledge of so many different dance styles helps me to continually develop and refine my skills without ever taking away from the enjoyment of dancing and performing.He creates an environment where you feel completely engaged, encouraged to push yourself and you are able to have a brilliant time doing it. Mark is an inspiring, hugely knowledgeable and wonderfully engaging teacher and choreographer, and i always look forward to his classes.
